Senior Workshop Technician 
CARS Service Centre Worcester

As part of the continued growth across the CARS group of businesses, we’re looking to strengthen our workshop team with the addition of a Senior Workshop Technician.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician who takes pride in their work, enjoys mentoring others, and is ready to play a key role in a busy, expanding workshop. An MOT licence would be a real advantage as we continue to grow our service offering.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out servicing, repairs, and more complex mechanical work across a wide range of vehicles
• Diagnosing faults accurately and efficiently using your experience and technical expertise
• Supporting and guiding junior technicians when needed
• Conducting MOT tests (if licensed) and ensuring all work meets required standards
• Helping the workshop run smoothly by managing jobs and maintaining high productivity
• Keeping up to date with the latest tools, technology, and industry best practices
• Delivering a high level of customer care and professionalism at all times

What We’re Looking For

• Solid experience as a vehicle technician/mechanic (senior level preferred)
• MOT licence (ideal, but not essential)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• A confident, reliable team player who can also work independently
• High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• A positive attitude and willingness to support a growing team
